What makes me tick

I have an unabashed and irrevocable love of Jim Henson & his creations. Including the Muppets,  Fraggle Rock, the Labyrinth, Sesame Street, the Dark Crystal and so on...

I'm terrified of great white sharks, clowns, car crashes, and fire. 

Harry Potter, Emily of New Moon, Roald Dahl and Robin McKinley are my childhood. 

I frequently quote movies. No really, like on a regular basis. 

I'm in love with How I Met Your Mother, Sherlock, Elementary and Dr. Who. Marshall Erikson is also my alter-ego. 

I'm an avid reader. & hate it when people say that they hate reading or don't like books. Every human being loves stories. It all depends on the presentation. 

I love laughing. And making people laugh. Sometimes simultaneously. 

My favorite movie of all time is Beauty and the Beast. But I also thoroughly enjoy Police Squad, While You Were Sleeping, To Wong Foo, Charade, Sherlock Holmes, Hot Shots, Walle, You've Got Mail, Emperor's New Groove and Mystery Science Theater 3000. From the sublime to the ridiculous. 

Tom Hiddleston, Robert Downey Jr., Zachary Levi, Benedict Cumberbatch and Andy Grammer are my celebrity crushes.

I hated high school & frequently referred to my high school years as the 'bane of my existence' or the 'Dark Ages.'

Katie Melua, Amy Lee, Joni Mitchell, Susanne Sundfør and Adele are some of my favorite female singers.

I need music playing, almost all the time.

I have the weirdest most twisted dreams ever. If my dreams ever were to be made into moveis, either Tim Burton or Quinten Tarrantino would direct them. I once had a dream that a nuclear bomb in the shape of an airplane was set to explode, and then turned into a basilisk from Harry Potter. I found myself holding the sword Excalibar and defeated the nuclear basilisk while my mother was hurriedly finishing her genealogy... needless to say, I watch what I eat before I go to bed each night.
